Week 11 - November 9 - 2006-2006 Season
The rut is kicking in and so is our games (I don't have any idea what that means but it sounds good). We had another amazingly close game tonight. The weather was nice (meteorologist Joe will like that plug :o) and the score would not tell the story. It was 17-14 but at 14-14 it was next touchdown wins again, no maybe it was, i can't remember, it was over 2 hours ago. Well Jarod was rushing in and batted the ball into the air and somehow tipped it to himself and ran it in for the game winner! It is only week 11 but that was THE PLAY OF THE YEAR! That should be 15-14 but somehow the game winded up at 17?? I am pretty sure that was the final score. We have a new scoreboard too! It is not helping me right now. It is like a romper room plasic thing. It fell over when the wind kicked up. Next year I will dig a hole and put in 10 bags of concrete so it won't fall over again! In the directions it says not to be used by anyone under 3 years of age. It is questionable whether we are qualified users of this. Getting back to fOoTbAll, not enough is said about Stas! Week in and week out he is the gazelle, the fastest guy on the field, he has a rocket for an arm, and tonight should have taken home the MVP but his team lost. I say we have co-MVPs this week, Joe NOsera and Stas share it! Those guys can run fast and they battled it out all night long! God bless 'em. I am glad I didn't have to cover either one of them!
FINAL SCORE 17-14
